5Nice folder!
By Amazongoose
I got the Miami folding bike in navy blue from the Citizen website because I like Citizen's style and it was far less expensive than a Dahon with 6 speeds would be.
It came in perfect condition, looking beautiful, just like it did in the pictures (except it came with the optional rear rack installed, which I ordered for $9). The navy blue seems really classy, dignified, and a good color for pretty much anyone to ride, thus I thought that if I wasn't quite satisfied, it would be easier to resell. But I am happy with this bike! I rode it around my college campus and got numerous compliments on how cool it looked. When I told them about its ability to fold, the other students really wanted their own.

It's pretty heavy at 34 lbs with the rack, 32 lbs without the rack. It's a solid, comfortable, and reliable ride that can easily fit into the trunk of a car, making it excellent for multi-modal commuting and traveling. Although it is a folding bike, I have no worries about it collapsing when I ride it because of how sturdy the frame is. The 20 inch wheels are easy to balance on. It came with fenders, a bell, kickstand, and reflectors pre-installed. The reflective velcro straps (also included) hold the bike in its folded position. It takes some practice to fold it correctly in 30 seconds, but all folding bikes do. It still feels sturdy when it is being folded.

I suggest getting a saddle with spring suspension for it because the bike has no shocks and you will feel bumps in the road with the stock saddle.
It's pretty good for getting up hills. It would be nice if it could go faster on flat land, though. It's comfortable at 10-12 miles per hour. I guess I can upgrade the chain or something to make it faster and it will still be hundreds of dollars less than a 6 speed Dahon. As stock, it's made more for leisurely rides and short rides than long, fast commutes. It's fun to ride and easy to store. But overall, it's a good value.

To sum up,
Here are the pros:
Can be brought into buses, subways, and trains.
Can fit in a car.
Easy to store in a small apartment or dorm room.
It's good-looking.
It's sturdy & pretty easy to fold after a little practice.
It's economical.
It's fun to ride.
Good for scaling hills.
It comes with fenders, reflectors, kickstand, and a bell, all pre-installed.
The optional rear rack from Citizen is $9 and comes pre-installed with a bike purchase.

Here are the cons:
It's pretty heavy.
It could be faster.

Update: when I lost one of the reflective velcro straps that holds the bike together, I contacted Citizen and they sent me a free new one as a courtesy.

5Well built, attractive and great price
By Michella
I only had about $200 to spend on a bike and it was depressing to look around and see how many bad reviews models under $200 got. The common sentiment was don't even bother buying a bike under $200 because its a waste of money and it will probably also get wrecked in shipping. This bike was a very pleasant find. Its solidly built with no cheap plastic parts, folds up fast and looks like it costs much more than it did. The shipping is impeccable- they wrap up every part in foam to safeguard from any damage and it is already almost completely assembled, just add handlebars and you are done. I have bought two of these- one for my boyfriend and one for me. I continue to be impressed by these bikes.

I had been worried that they would be hard to pedal with smaller wheels, but these are pretty easy to ride. A nice solid purchase, could not be more pleased.
